Kendra
Have you ever had a friend that meant so much to you, you thought your heart would burst? One my dearest and best friends got married in September. We have known each other since Kindergarten, and been close friends since junior high. Kendra was a bridesmaid in my wedding, and I was honored to have not only done her hair and makeup for her wedding day, but also to be one of her bridesmaids!!
Me and Kendra at the rehearsal, day before the wedding.
When I got married four years ago, Kendra actually drove me to the venue. So when we left her aunt's house for her venue, I volunteered to drive her in the same car.
Same car, beautiful bride!

Kendra and Clayton are seriously adorable. What I didn't know when they started dating was that we all went to junior high together! They didn't start dating until after college, and we all met last year when we went on a cruise to Mexico!! So much fun, and I can tell that they truly love each other.

Kendra and Clayton got married at Wilder Ranch in Felton, California. It was such a gorgeous venue, and Kendra created almost everything for the wedding and reception from scratch! Literally everyone was telling her she is in the wrong profession (HR) and needs to become a wedding planner. I mean she hand sewed all the napkins, made all of the bouquets including her own, and saved up countless vases, table clothes, and silverware for months before the wedding! It was such a gorgeous wedding, celebrating a wonderful couple and the people that love them. I got to see a bunch of people I hadn't seen since junior high, and for such a good reason.
Ash clearly had a ton of fun!! My baby got to be in the wedding too, along with Kendra's cousin Brooke's son. THEY WERE ADORABLE. And I'm totally not biased at all.
Having grown up just a few towns over in Boulder Creek, it was such a treat to get to come home for a week and show my hometown off to my husband and son. Nick and I have been together almost eight years and he had never been!! If you ever get the chance to go to Northern California and see the Redwoods, I highly recommend it. It's honestly my favorite place on Earth.
The day after the wedding, we were invited to a picnic at Loch Lomond with Clayton's family. This was all of our first time going there, and Asher's first time at a lake!
Me and Asher at Big Basin State Park, in Boulder Creek CA, my hometown. It was a wonderful wedding and such an amazing trip for my family and I.
